The initial idea came up as we spent the 2017 summer in the balearic islands, we are ocean enthusiast that enjoy spending countless hours near the water and the marine wildlife.

But we slowly began to encounter a very common problem. Plastic waste invading the coast. And we decided that something needed to be done in order to reduce plastic waste, and create something meaningful enough for people to learn about the problem and contribute to cleaning up the oceans. 

This is why we founded Sloppy Tunas, a clothing brand focused on creating high quality, meaningful and fashionable swimwear for our every day consumer, made out of recycled plastic collected by local fisherman of the mediterranean sea.
